Sauteed Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients

  1. 1 1/2 cups Brussels sprouts
  2. 2 tbsp butter
  3. salt and pepper
  4. Pinch of nutmeg
  5. 2 tsp lemon juice
  6. 2 tbsp chopped parsley

Instructions

  • Cut a cross on the base of each Brussels sprout and place in a saucepan filled with lightly salted boiling water. Cook for 20 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  • In a skillet, melt butter and brown Brussels sprouts. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. When butter turns slightly brown, add lemon juice and parsley.
